ASTM A182 F11 Flanges are made to ASTM A182 / ASME SA182 F11 Class 2 for steam and refinery service. They are supplied in every common flange type and facing to ASME B16.5, B16.47 and the main EN, DIN, BS and JIS standards.

ASTM A182 F11 is a 1¼% chromium, ½% molybdenum alloy steel, the most widely used chrome-moly grade for power plant and refinery steam piping in the moderate high-temperature range.

ASTM A182 F11 flanges are supplied normalised and tempered (or annealed, as the specification allows) with hardness checked. Welding to chrome-moly pipe requires preheat, controlled interpass temperature and post-weld heat treatment.
Every heat is PMI-verified and its chemistry and mechanical properties are confirmed against the material specification before the flanges are released. Each piece is marked with grade, size, rating and heat number for traceability to its EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate. EN 10204 3.2 certification and inspection by the buyer's nominated third-party agency are available on request, as are PED 2014/68/EU compliance for European projects and IBR certification for Indian boiler applications.
Heat treatment records and hardness results are reported for each heat.
F11 Class 2 is the most commonly specified for flanges and forged fittings; Class 1 and Class 3 have lower and higher strength requirements respectively.
