What Is Weld Neck Flange?

  • A long, conical neck, the end of which is welded to the pipe, distinguishes these flanges.
  • The pipe's internal diameter is the same as the flange's, resulting in a generally continuous sectional flow in the gases/liquids circulating through the pipe with no interruptions or turbulence.
