317/ 317L Forged Fittings have chromium-nickel properties with high corrosion resistance. Its Molybdenum content improves superior pitting resistance. It is the most corrosion and oxidization resistant material and possesses the highest tensile and creep strength properties at high temperatures and pressures. The 317L has a low carbon chromium-nickel property that is utilized in applications where it is not possible to anneal after welding and where maximum corrosion resistance is required.
