What is Hastelloy C276 Pipe Fittings?
Chromium, nickel, and molybdenum are worked together to form the material known as Hastelloy C276. It is one of the most adaptable alloys and has a high level of corrosion resistance. They are also highly resistant to cracking, pitting, and oxidising caused by stress-related corrosion up to a temperature of 1037 degrees Celsius. Additionally, they can endure a variety of chemical conditions. They are ideal for a variety of chemical applications under the welded circumstances because they can withstand the production of grain boundary precipitate. Alloy C276 Threaded Pipe Fittings Vs UNS N10276 Socket Weld Fittings

Nickel C276 Elbow Vs ASTM B366 Alloy C276 Reducer
The Nickel C276 Elbow is used to alter the pipe run's flow direction. They are offered with bends of 45 degrees and 90 degrees, and the bend angle can be adjusted to meet specific needs. Two varieties of elbows exist.:

  • Short radius elbow- its radius of curvature is equal to diameter of the pipe.
  • Long radius elbow- its radius of curvature is 1.5 or more times the pipe’s diameter.

The ASTM B366 Alloy C276 Reducer is used for changing the pipe’s size from a larger to a smaller bore. There are two kinds of reducers, namely:

  • Concentric reducer- This is used for vertical pipes.
  • Eccentric reducer- This is used in the horizontal pipes, to maintain the same top or bottom level.
